Last night, we finally remembered to put McKenzie's hair in curlers after her shower FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER. She was so excited!

However, the next morning, new snow superceded her excitement about her hair, and we didn't get many pictures of it. By the time I realized we still needed "after" shots, the curls had fallen out from playing in the falling snow.
Still, here's a pretty good taste of how they turned out:

Yeah, snow has that effect on everyone. The curls look very cute. Did you put her hair in rags? So cool!
By the way, I've been meaning to call you and thank you for dropping off that book for me to borrow. You are so thoughtful!
Yeah, Kim loaned me her soft rectangle foam curlers last December and it's taken me forever to use them. I tried them on my hair, but it didn't look so good. I've determined I'm a straight hair girl.
Thanks so much for your comments. I hope you enjoy the book! I have to go. Michael is dancing for me to get my attention. Blogging can be so addictive!
the curls are darling.
So glad you finally used them! The curls look adorable on her! You'll have to use them again when they will last a little bit longer. Where's your before and afters? :)
So cute. I've wondered about buying those kind of curlers, they seem so much gentler to the poor kids head compared to the ones we used growing up. Do the curls come out as good?
I found some soft rollers similar to the ones Kim loaned me at Walmart last night. They're a little longer but soft with ends that bend over so the curlers stay in. When I wore curlers a few weeks ago, I had a hard time sleeping b/c my head was cold (since it was wet), and I couldn't get really comfortable. McKenzie had no complaints the first time she wore curlers, but the ones I bought have a different sort of fabric, and McKenzie said her head itched. She didn't sleep well last night. But her curls are adorable! I'm not so sure she agreed, however, b/c this morning when she saw them, she said she thought she should do her hair like that on "Crazy Hair Day." Hmmm...
