McKenzie was so excited to open her gifts on her birthday. She opened one from her grandparents first. It was hilarious b/c when she opened the box they mailed it in, she pulled out the comics they had used as wrapping paper and thought that was her gift. She was pretty bummed when she saw that there was a hole in her "present." We urged her to keep looking in the box. She perked up quite a bit when she saw the real gift.
She also got a bike for her birthday (and as a reward for learning how to ride a bike, period). She was so excited about it until she crashed later that afternoon. Now she won't touch it b/c she says it's too wobbly. We're going to have to figure out some way to get her back on it.
